October 2021 P.I.P Construction Spending – Census Bureau
In the October 2021 P.I.P Construction Spending report from the US Census Bureau we see that total construction has risen 0.2% since last month and continues to rise in the 1 year to 8.6% from October 2020 to October 2021. Residential construction has fallen this month -0.5% but remains up 16.4% from October 2020. The largest increases in construction spending from last month have come from public sources. Private Construction saw marginal gains/losses in all verticals except for Amusement and Recreation which saw a 6% rise compared to last month. Public construction saw a 16.4% gain in Conservation and Development spending.
